Snowshoeing

Explore the quiet forests around Purity Spring Resort. Enjoy an easy winter hike through our extensive trail network or explore the on-site NH Audubon Wildlife Sanctuary.

Snowshoeing at King Pine and Purity Spring Resort on backcountry trails is no cost, however a trail pass is required for our groomed trail network. Access to our groomed snowshoe trail network is included with every lift ticket (valid for date on ticket) or see the rates page for available Snowshoe trail pass. Snowshoe rentals are available at the King Pine Rental & Tune Shop.

During the winter months, guided snowshoe tours will be available on Saturdays at 2 p.m. (weather permitting) and are $12 per person (tour is complimentary to guests, but rentals not included). Interested participants are asked to sign-up and meet at The Mill Indoor Pool & Fitness Center across from the Purity Spring Main Office at least 30 minutes before the start of the tour. (Please note, if rental equipment is needed, please allow yourself enough time go to our rental tune shop located in the King Pine base lodge well prior to the time you need to meet at The Mill before the start of the tour)

Moonlight Tours - As the winter moon rises, experience one of our guided moonlight snowshoe tours through NH Audubon's Hoyt Wildlife Sanctuary at Purity Spring Resort.  Take in the tall pines and soft woodland sounds with views of King Pine Ski Area in the distance as you experience the serene trails along Purity Lake.

Snowshoe tours scheduled 2 p.m. every Saturday throughout the season:

Saturdays December 31 & January 7, 14, 21, 28 & Friday, January 13, 7 p.m. Moonlight Tour

Saturdays February 4, 11, 18, 25 & Friday, February 10, 7 p.m. Moonlight Tour

*Additional February Vacation Week Tours - Monday, February 20 & Wednesday, February 22

Saturdays March 4, 11, 18, 25 (weather permitting)
