Currently seeking Main Office Operations: Assistant Manager. Role of the Assistant Main Office Manager is to assist in overseeing all areas of operation related to guest experience and the busy main office, while being familiar with every facet of Purity Spring Resort businesses: Traditions Restaurant & Pub, King Pine, Danforth Bay & The Bluffs and Camp Tohkomeupog. As a year-round resort, the main office is responsible for all inquiries and reservations, along with assisting guests from the moment the reservation is made until the guest departs our property. The main office staff is the first contact a guest will have with Purity Spring Resort; their demeanor, attention to detail, attitude and work ethic set the tone for each and every guest who visits the shores of Purity Lake.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain high standards of guest services as stated in Purity Spring Resort’s mission statement.
  • Answer phones, make and manage reservations through phone, email and on-line sources, verify and process payments, remain attentive to guests, whether their inquiry is about resort activities or area attractions, a complaint or a request. 
  • Know the layout of the resort, the rooms, the schedule of activities and seasonal events; assign and block rooms best suited to each guests’ needs and resort availability.
  • Schedule massages and spa services; make sure staff is aware of massage therapists’ schedules, upcoming group requirements, booking accuracy/completion, ensure MT reports are accurate, payments processed.
  • Ensure that the resort, Main Office and Mill Pool & Fitness Room operate efficiently and according to resort policy.
  • Maintain memberships of Mill Pool & Fitness Center, its rules, rates and varying programs.
  • Help process and maintain records of a wide range of financial transactions - reservation deposits, payroll costs, office expenses, gift shop sales, gym memberships - organization and accuracy are essential. 
  • Maintain open, clear and accurate communication with all departments at the resort and serve as the “hub” of operations.
  • Take a lead role in marketing efforts to ensure maximum efficiency of resort offerings and resources. Know the events, schedules and programs of the resort - how things work and how to find that information. 
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of daily and monthly operating procedures, reports and statistical information.
  • Work  with manager in building and managing rates, requiring meticulous attention to detail and ability to work with complex pricing formulas based on the varying factors of type of stay, time of year, etc. 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Must be friendly, outgoing and have outstanding customer service/people skills.
  • Must have previous main office/front desk experience and be familiar with, or possess the ability to learn our various systems, including but not limited to: Resort Data Processing (RDP), TravelClick/iHotelier, our web-hosted time attendance system, Google Drive functions, Excel and Word.
  • Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
