Spring and Summer Activities

When the warm weather arrives in New Hampshire, the list of fun and exciting things to do grows incredibly, and with Purity Lake in our backyard, the list seems almost endless. Our guests should have no problem finding something fun to do, no matter what time of year you stay.

Summer recreation scheduled activities generally operate late June through August. Schedule is subject to change due to weather and participation. Additional organized activities may be added during season. A current schedule for the week with additional information and details will be provided to guests at check-in.

Additional resort activities are complimentary to resort guests, except as noted ($), and include:

  • BOATING with available canoes, kayaks and rowboats. Late June through August, paddle one to attend Monday morning's Summer Breakfast at Rocky Point
  • WATERSKIING, KNEEBOARDING & WAKEBOARDING at Sunset Beach for ages 6 and up late June through August
  • FISHING for bass, trout, pickerel & more indiginous fish (NH fishing license required)
  • SAILING with available boats at the King Pine beach
  • SWIMMING and lakeside time at one of our four sandy beaches
  • PLAYGROUNDS for the kids near The Loft, King Pine, Picnic Island and Sunset Beach
  • GUIDED TOURS July through August, some fees may apply
  • ARCHERY late June through August
  • MOUNTAIN BIKING late June through August
  • TENNIS on five courts with one that can be lit for night use.

Wake the kids, grab your gear and head out for a morning of fishing on Purity Lake. Kayaks, canoes and rowboats are complimentary with your stay and can be found near the footbridge to Purity Island or at the beach across from King Pine. You'll find plenty of pickerel and small mouth bass to catch and release and enough panfish, perch and sunfish to keep all ages involved.

Purity does have a limited amount of gear for you to borrow (check with the Main Office), and live bait is available for purchase at The Mill. 

NH licenses for those 16 years of age and over can be purchased online.

Purity Spring offers a 12 ft catamaran for guests to use. The catamaran is typically accessible from the King Pine beach across the street from King Pine Ski Area and base lodge.

We ask that guests never sail alone or without the proper instruction.

There are a total of 5 tennis courts available at Purity Spring Resort. Four courts are located just south of the King Pine base lodge, on East Madison Road.

Court time is complimentary. There is an additional court located at Millbrook that has time-operated lights available for night-time play until 10 PM. Please be considerate for guests staying in Millbrook. Tennis racquets and balls are available at the front office and tennis balls may be purchased at The Blue Heron Gift Shop, located at The Mill Pool & Fitness Center. A ball machine is also available for the Millbrook court. A ball basket may be found at the Milbrook Office.
