Whether you’re canoeing across Purity Lake or soaring down King Pine’s slopes, your stomach is bound to start growling somewhere along the way. Luckily, Traditions Restaurant, Café & Pub is right on site. They serve up hearty breakfast sandwiches and traditional bacon, eggs, homefries and toast in the morning and healthy portions of grilled meats and Italian classics at night. With everything from locally roasted espresso to nationally renowned wines, you’ll find the perfect drink pairing for every meal. Open Wednesday-Sunday 7-11 a.m. for coffee, espresso & breakfast and Tuesday-Saturday 4-9 p.m. for dinner & drinks.
Join us Friday, September 29 for a seasonal celebration on Purity Island 4-8 p.m., enjoy Traditional German Fare, Beer, Stein Hoisting, Music, & Good Times. Prost!
Since the 1960’s, Purity Spring Resort has been hosting wild and wonderful weekly cookouts from mid-June to early September. Every Saturday you’ll find woodfired bacon and wonderfully cheesy omelets on the shores of Purity Island from 8:30 to 10 a.m. And every Thursday at 6 p.m., you’ll find a feast for all your senses with steamed lobster, grilled New York steaks and fresh cornbread too. Advanced reservations are recommended. Please note, there will not be a Breakfast Cookout on Saturday, August 26 due to a wedding event.
With a number of our accommodations offering full kitchens, or for available outdoor grills at all buildings during the summer season, we offer the convenience and flavor of our Grillin' Kits* and Family Meal Packages. Great for evenings when Traditions may be closed, order tasty meals and kits 24 hours in advance to enjoy during your stay. *Available seasonally.
Skiing on an empty stomach is never a good idea. But thanks to King Pine’s mountainside dining, you’ll never have to. All ski season long, Pine Cone Café serves up soups, sandwiches and some seriously tasty chicken fingers. While Trail’s End Tavern pours beer, wine and cocktails. And if you happen to find yourself craving a little live entertainment too, you’re in luck. Because Trail’s End Tavern regularly hosts musical acts every Saturday.
